Where can i find other research data and articles for my research?

I am doing a survey research for my Psychology class. I have already collected all my own data through surveys, but need other similar research and their results to backup my own claims. My topic is "The Effects of Stress Caused by Road Congestion". I need links where i can find data on related studies but it needs to be free, and not something i need to pay for.

Where can i find other research data and articles for my research?
Try your local library-they often have access to research databases that you do not have to pay for or they may be able to get you the information that you need.
Reply:Check out a 2007 study called TRAFFIC STRESS HITS LIFESTYLES %26amp; PRODUCTIVITY – NEW SURVEY here: http://www.fleetcare.com.au/download.cfm... - I don't think the full link will appear but if you google this title it should come up. I googled "stress and traffic congestion" for this).

If there are particular effects you want to talk about, you could google "traffic congestion" and "stress" and (eg) "work performance".

If you just wanted to see what's generally available on this topic, google "traffic" and "stress" and "effects".

For academic research you would generally need to have access to an academic database which you would only get if you're a Uni student. (If you are a Uni student and you don't know about this, you should check out your university's library website - you'll have access to heaps of good stuff through their online databases!).

Good luck!
Reply:you need a real library for that - preferably a university library that gives you access to MEDLINE or DIALOG

otherwise, you do it the old fashioned way, using paper index books to publication
