Reply:1. Yes...even with an epidural there are usually a few hours of contractions before you get the epi, and when you deliver there is some intense burning...but it's over quickly and worth it.
2. After college...21 or 22
3. I like the american academy of pediatricians baby care book.
4. http://www.babyplus.com/WhatIsIt.aspx; baby plus is sonic waves that the baby hears through the belly throughout the pregnancy and help the baby develop memory
5. clearblue easy...the digital test
6. Maegan
7. Gavin

9. When you have support around you and you can afford to support yourself and your baby...I wanted to know that if anything happened to my husband I could support my son without him, and it makes me feel more secure knowing that I have family and friends to help me if I need it. you're never really ready even when you think you are....we wanted one so badly and still I had moments where I would think...are we crazy!?!
10. They're so different...you miss being pregnant when the baby is out....you miss the feelings you had, but you're so happy looking at the little one!
Reply:Hi. Good Luck on your research.
1) Yes it does hurt to have a baby, both mentally and psycially. Imagine the pain of bearing a child...and as far as mentally, it is a mothers instincts to worry about her unborn child, she wonders if it will be healthy, have any problems, what it will look like, if she will be a good parent and so on....there is alot of effort in having a baby.
2) I was 19 when I had my first son. I was ready because I personally had had a rough childhood, I had experienced things at a young age, partying, drinking, drugs, and etc. So when I met my husband I was ready to settle down, I had all of the rough stage out of my system and was ready to have a great life.
3)The best baby book...there are alot of good books, but I would have to say "What to expect when your expecting" for pregnancy.
4) Babyplus? I am not sure. LOL. Sorry cant answer this one for ya.
5) The best pregnancy test for me was the one that came out positive. :-) Nah, really...the best test to see if your pregnant is done by a health care professional. They are experienced with when it is the right time for you to take one based on your last period. Home Pregnancy tests are ok, but you dont always get the right answer for the simple fact of we are not Pros at doing pregnancy tests and a little mistake iwll give you a wrong reading.
6) My favorite girl name...Heaven Lyric (thats what I would have named my daughter if she were a girl)
7) Favorite boy name...eww this is a hard one. Not to give more love out to one of my kids than the other but...I have 2 sons. One is Christian Kai and the other is Aiden Elias. I would have to say that Kai would have to be my favorite because it is just very unique to ME.
8) To be pregnant feels like....You swallowed a hot air balloon, Someone should call the vet because Shamoo escaped, LOL...;-) Nah, to be pregnant feels wonderful. Even through the morning sickness, sleepless nights, cramps, contractions, emotions, aches, needle pricks, labor pains, through all of that hard stuff, it is MORE THAN WORTH IT, having a child is an unforgettable experience, it is good and it is bad but it is all worth it.
9) In my humble opinion, when you are in a loving, caring, healthy relationship, and you want a child, it is time. Dont worry about if you can afford it, becasue if you think about it that way, you can never afford it. But being finanically stable does help. When you are happy in life, you have a good realtionship, but you feel that you are ready for more, then it is time to have a child. When you are not selfish anymore, and willing to sacrafice, then it is time.
10) Pregnancy is a wonderful experience, it is hard, but wonderful all at the same time. But I would have to say after birht because there is no other feeling in the world like holding that little life that you created through love. You have earned this reward from God and it is Irreplaceable. You cherish every moment of it.
I hope I have helped you and you got some information that you needed. Remember that this is the way I PERSONALLY feel. This may not be the way that all women feel. Good Luck to you on your research and have a great and BLESSED day!
