Short survey for college research paper. ANYONE INTERESTED?

I'm doing a research paper on "Definitions of and Responses to Infidelity in Romantic relationships". If you are willing, I would appreciate it if you would fill out this questionnaire that will help me.

an IRB form has been completed, so I have permission to do this. All information is voluntary on your part.

How do you define cheating (romantic, sexual, internet...)?

Have you ever committed an act of infidelity, or had one committed against you?

How did you respond to cheating and why did you choose that response?

What was your rationale for the cheating? Why did you commit the act or why did your partner commit the act?

When you found out your partner cheated (or found out you were cheating) did you do the follow things (on a 1-7 scale)

a) Were hurt

b) Wanted revenge

c) Desired an end to the relationship

d) Were forgiving or sought forgiveness

e) Sought condolence from others

Just answer as honest as you possibly can. Thanks for your help! You have no idea what it means to me

Short survey for college research paper. ANYONE INTERESTED?
How do you define cheating? - Any interest that is beyond friendship. This is includes anything physical (kissing and beyond) as well as emotional. If my partner feels the need to hide the relationship (no matter how innocent) I would be suspicious. If he's seeking out people online to have relationships with I would assume he's missing something in our relationship is and seeking it out in others. I'd probably consider this cheating. Emotional cheating is worse than physical.

Have I ever been cheated on? No

Have I ever cheated? No

The remaining questions are not applicable to me.

If it matters: 22, female, graduate student, in a relationship (18 months)
