In particular I'm looking at the panda research survey site.
Is it safe to use my credit card to complete offers on survey sites?
No, I wouldn't risk it.
Reply:Yes ,in fact I have a survey and would like your credit card number....I am taking a survey to see how many idiots will give me their credit card numbers.
Reply:If u are talking about panda antivirus, maybe safe, but if not.....DONT,it may be scam to trick u out for cash.
Reply:You need not pay any money to join a survey company. Pinecone research, Surveysavvy, Greenfieldonline are some of the larger survey companies, who pay regularly . A list of companies you can join for free , with details of amounts you will receive as payment, is available at http://tinyurl.com/mx9ga
Reply:I agree with lucee. A survey site has no need for your credit card information. It sounds like a scam. Don't do it.
Reply:No, I wouldn't do it. I've heard so many people talk about giving their credit card info to a survey site and then never getting the payment they promised--I don't know what specific sites these were for, but I personally wouldn't trust Panda: Panda is scummy in my oppinion, but I never actually signed up for any of their offers--just signed up for the site and then realized that they weren't actually a survey site, but a "take a survey and sign up for an offer site." But just that they would come across as paying you for taking surveys when they are really paying you to sign up for offers (most of which cost more than what they say they pay you) makes me not want to trust them.
Now, if its an offer you really want, at very least research that specific offer somewhere other than Panda. (Might be a good idea to post what the offer was/company that the offer was through even in this post).

Reply:I'm not sure what credit cards have to do with surveys. If you are purchasing anything online, I follow certain rules.
One the url should change from
http:
to
https:
and you should see a Lock in the lower right browser.
Also understand what the companies privacy policy is.
Most likely you're safe. You might be dupped into buying stuff you don't need at these survey sites. Some I have seen lure you in with the offer of some nice mp3 player or something to fill out their survey, but at the end you have to spend money on their offers. So be careful, Nothing is free for the most part.
good luck

Reply:No legitimate survey site has any reason to ask for your credit card. The fact that you are asking this question says that you have some doubt about this. When it doubt, DON'T DO IT!
Reply:Are you talking about the Panda that make AV and AS programs? I have no idea why they would want your Credit Card number to complete a survey.
Sorry, this sound like a bogus site and you will lose lots of money if you give them your card number.
Reply:I think that is the dumbest question to ask if you want order something or pay for a service that is a difference story and make damn sure about that.
Reply:It's very safe, make sure you set your browser to accept all cookies.
Reply:WHAT ARE 9? I'LL ANSWER INCASE YOU ARE REALLY THAT STUPID. no! 2 POINTS FOR ME.
