Yes - it's called the Patriot Act. Not to mention that technology is drastically better. Look up anybody on Whitepages.com and you can not only find their phone # and address but also their ages. Also identity theft is much more prevalent.

Government officials are public figures - they don't have the right to privacy.

2. The executive branch has way more privacy now than 3 decades ago. The other two probably have less due to the internet.
