Need research on emerging artists?

I am looking for research (studies, surveys, etc.) on young emerging artists. I am trying to determine who they are demographically, and what they want. Any leads?

No one documents new young artist unless they're being promoted by a dealer. Look in the magazine Decor's publication called "Sources" then maybe "The Art News" both have pretty good information the Library has these usually available.
Reply:young emerging artists are hard to find. because they are so "new", but there are a few emerging song artsists that play at local pubs. some started out there, like the barenaked ladies, foo fighters, and soul asylum.
