Basic universal health insurance from private companies for all legal U.S. residents and citizens. (Note I said universal INSURANCE and not health care, makes a big difference!).
Reply:I would like the option to get just catastrophic health care insurance and let the market dictate the prices of all other normal medical services. Right now, as a healthy 29 year old male, I pay $80/month for health care but I haven't seen a doctor in 2 years.

On the other hand, when my grandmother was in the hospital last year, we all knew that she was not coming back out, but she was kept on life support for an additional week. That extra week of expenses....of which was paid by the public....cost more than the past 7 years of health care for me. She benefitted nothing from staying alive an extra week, and it ended up costing all of us tons of money. This same situation occurs with most elderly. The majority of the money spent in the health industry is in the last 7 days of life....when there really is no hope of recovery anyways.
Reply:universal healthcare for the legal citizens of the USA.

Start with more border patrol personnel.
Reply:Um, I'm just an 8th grader, bu it seems that healthcare issues w/ immigrants and healthcare being too expensive are the most talked about in public.
